    Does CN have any current spartan-cab GE's anymore? Will be neat to see the North American map scheme on these!

    They're being outfitted to run lead in Canada. I wonder if they will get upgraded for EPA regs or if they will stay in Canada?

    They have the BCR B39-8s, still in BCR colors.

    Okay... CN was not the buyer I expected. I guess it makes sense; they are mechanically standard with the C40-8M fleet.

    It's not an M636, but I suppose it's the next best thing still on a Class 1 roster.

    Reportedly at least one of the ex-UP C40-8's is out in service already.
    Also, those ex-BCOL B39's have been slowly trickling south to Homewood, IL for retirement and disposition. Not sure how many (if any) are still active, but I have seen at least three of them personally making the trek southward.
