Hi all. This is the last few days of my vacation. I am planning on maybe fanning the Coast Line since I have no photos from there. Can anyone give me an idea of how many trains I may see? I plan on staying south of SLO. Anyway thank you for your help. If I find that it may turn out to be a bust... I'll probably just go to Tehachapi or Cajon. Thanks.
With New years over freight traffic should return to normal maybe 8-10 in daylight hours plus #14 Starlite & maybe #11 thru SLO. Thru Oxnard you'll get 6 Amtraks & at least 4 Metrolimks plus the same freights.
Thanks for the info guys. I did see 4 trains on friday. Since the terrain was new I did do some exploration. I managed to only get one photo though, but at least it was SP, and it was on the point. I caught SP 324 leading the coast cans past the trestle at Gaviota. I just hope the photo comes out. Thanks again for the info.
