Figured it is time to start a thread here. So how about track plans? Note that we are in process with house upstairs demo and redo and that is taking most of my time. I try to get to the forums early in the morning. Constructive suggestion/criticism is wanted! Later
A lot of tangent track. If you could work in a few curves, so it did not continuously parallel the benchwork edges?
Boxcab: Oh ya, those tangents will change to long radii curves in places, some to separate scenes, others just cuz come build time. The bench work is pretty much cast in stone, track work out on the mains is not. What you are looking at is just to give me an idea of the real estate I can play with. I had certain objects that needed handled, also my Druthers put in a couple of layout have to haves that I wanted. I also noted that the diamond in 'Black Diamond' does not show on the plan and that is because of the way I have separated the levels in Xtrack. Guess that I could do a middle blob only too. Later
in2tech: It is in a 30x40 out building. Another of the things wanted is long trains with somewhat long runs. I am trying to have the scenery to industry ratio close to 50:50 - suspect that I won't quite make that, but gonna try. Later
