I have the first and second run of CC 2-10-2's. They are magnificent loco's and they'll pull 40 cars + on level track and 30+ cars on a 2% grade. CC has done a fine job with this loco. It's one of the most powerful performing US steam loco's in N scale. It runs very well on fifteen inch radii. The wheelbase is quite large and rigid which might inhibit it's performance on smaller radii. It definitely is a large steam loco. Stay cool and run steam.....
i wonder, do they have rapido couplers as well, i still havent converted anything to mt's as there are no fleischmann conversions available
David: They come equipped with MT couplers front and rear which is a very nice feature. If you have all Rapidos, you can convert the lead coupler of a freight car to MT's and then run your train of Rapidos. Stay cool and run steam....
