Con cor Pioneer Zephyr

    I have a Zephyr on the way with a DN143ip to install. I have 12 locos with DCC and have always used Southern Digital to install the decoders.
    I would like to try and install the decoder since it is supposed to be plug n play.
    Has anyone out there installed a decoder in this Con-Cor model?

    I'm still waiting on my PZ to arrive but the installation of a decoder is just a matter of aligning the pins and pushing it in. Just remember to get the pin orientation correct.

    Pin 1 on the loco is the orange lead on the decoder.

    Just received the Zephyr. Installed the decoder no problem. It is running smoothly and quiet on my layout. I have to say it is the most fantastic unit on my layout. Unbelievable detail and quality. Now I have got to order the 4th car. Wow!

    Decoder installation is easy in that loco with a plugn'play decoder.
