A number of people (me being one of them) have complained about Trainboard randomly singing the paid user out. As such, the user has to sign in again ( and again and again) in order for said paid user to see the media he has paid to see. Very frustrating.........

I have found out what is causing this to happen. Attached below is a screenshot from my computer just as I got automatically signed out. It has the culprit hyperlink in the lower right corner that is causing the problem ("New feature Resources"). Every time this hyperlink shows up on the page I'm viewing I get signed out. What's up with that?

Can you please adjust the settings at your end and stop your website from randomly adding this hyperlink to a page? Or at least modify the hyperlink so it doesn't sign me and a host of others off the paid site every time it shows up? It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brian

You are spot on Brian -- same result here. Same IE 11 as you. Every time one of these li'l things appears, I'm signed off.

    Brian-

This is a known issue with IE9/10/11, not the link pictured. It has been much discussed. For reasons unknown, it effects some folks, yet not all others. If you have another browser available to try, please do so. I had the exact same IE11 troubles, but none using FireFox. Others have tried Chrome with success.

Yes, it has nothing to do with the link in the corner.

This problem affects a small number of IE users. While we don't like the problem, I'm afraid we can't do anything about it. Newer versions of IE , as well as Firefox and Chrome do not have that problem.

Sorry Charlie I have to respectfully disagree. The only time I get auto signed off is when this link is displayed on my screen. Or myabe its a one in a billion (trillion) coincidence this happens with 100 percent consistancy. The other possible scenario is something else within the new trainboard website is signing me off and the resulting "public" screen has this link displayed. I have the most up to date version of IE Having to convert to a 2nd party browser just so I can surf on this site without the frustration is not worth it.

Yes, the link shows up BECAUSE you are signed off. It is not the cause of the log out.

    Brian,

No worries friend. You can feel as you choose and I respect that. However, I have given you the correct answer.

    Good luck to you.

Oh, I didn't know that. Interesting. But, yes, Brian and I are on the same train here.

    Hi Charle,

Sadly after months of dealing with issues regarding the new trainboard website (poor color selection making it very hard to see text in banners, and differences between read and non read posts) and the constant hassles of being "auto" signed out I have decided to leave trainboard. It has been fun seeing everyone's projects and accomplishments not to mention a bit of bragging myself, but the problems outweigh the enjoyment at this point. Maybe some day in the future you will be able to modify your website so it is compatible with internet explorer AGAIN, and in addition, allow users to customize the way the site is displayed on the screen so we can make It more readable for "older" eyes. Until then I wish you and all the admins the best and continued following by the more patient followers.
