We now getting closer to the fall East Coast Large Scale train show or as other people would abbreviate it as the ECLS train show. I am definately going to this one also, I'm sure USA Trains will have a couple of pre-producttion models of there new 60ft box cars coming out along with the 2 tier enclosed auto carrier. Rumor has it that all of the vendors and manufacturers who signed up this spring will be there at this show also. I noticed Aristocraft has a real nice special fall show train car for all of us. I was especially excited to see what they have picked out and produced for the show. It's a 2 bay covered hopper car in the Winchester & Western road name. This is a short line railroad for those who never heard of this railroad. They have a division right in my town which they run maninly EMD GP-9 locomotives and you see these shorty yellow covered hopper cars everywhere. I will see if I can get a picture of one sometime. For me it is a 2 1/2 ride one way, but it is worth it, I always come home with a great deal or great find. Plus I like to see the club layouts and the scratch build model contest. There is fun to be had by all. Usual request, since the PCC Trolley samples are out, was wondering if you could take any shots of them in person and hopefully by then they'll be painted. AC announced they will have an electrified trolley pole so I'm excited about that.
DragonFyreGT, sure thing, no problem, I will also scout out for any other prototypes from other manufacturers, all pictures will be exclusive to Train Board only.
If anyone has any other picture request from the Summer York G scale train show please let me know. I will not be doing any movies this time around. I will be taking an extra SD card with me this time and will take more club display pictures.
It is now September and I'm looking forward to the September York ECLS Train show. I have a few 2 GB SD memory cards for loads of pictures. This time around I will be only concetrating on pictures. Anyone else going?
