Anyone have a list that is up to date? I have recently seen several which are not on any list I can find on line. For example, where is "CUA"? CUB is or was Cuba, Missouri. That is as close as I can come. And then was a photo I posted a few days back, of a train which originated at Eldridge, North Dakota, but I do not see "ELR" listed?
I wish I knew. One of my primary stops is http://www.qstation.org/bnsf/bnsfsymbols.html, and they have a station code for a place that hasn't had rails since 2003 (Grenora, ND). Doesn't seem reliable any longer.
For what it's worth, the NS listings I find are much the same. With NS at least, their operations are often in flux as they seek to optimize. As such, trains are added and deleted and it's nearly impossible to keep up with it all, and my interest is only the Coastal Division.
