I didn't see the nose, so I can't be sure, but it sure looks like it. I note also that it's running on HT-C trucks which is odd. If it's back in the yard this evening I'll look for that. I see another 45 trailing in that shot and it's from 2007. ... ..... OK, I looked at the inactive Unofficial site http://members.trainorders.com/dan.sheets/ and I see it mentions in the photo on the front that only 2 of the 4 SD45Rs went east to Buffalo&Pittsburg. Not all 4 as I had thought. I remember this being a big deal move at that time. So that would explain the 45s still being around though I would have thought that they would be for a specific service and not turn up on the Harbor Turn.
It was in the Tigard yard last night and again this morning. It was 3051. It was there with a GP40 in G&W colors. GP40s are rare up here. Interestingly, The HT-C trucks have had the shock absorber removed from the center axle. I've noticed on the GP39-2s that the absorber on the Bloomberg M trucks is missing as well. This is a recent development. Any idea why?
