Excellent!!!! That's great info! Any chance of that info matched up with what the general type of freight was (TOFC, grain, auto parts, etc), its priority (drag, hot, hottest), and the name of the train, I.E. Railblazer, Ford FAST, etc? I for one, will use that info, for building accurate numbered trains, seeing that we have better data on this now. Thanks!!
Hi all, The only two trains that I am aware of that had names were the 79, Ford Fast, and the 102/103, The Railblazer. I am trying to get more info about train makeup and priority. The 79 alledgedly had priority over the RGZ. There was also a Denver originating train that had a caboose in front of the City Market trailers so that when it arrived in GJ, the CM tofc's were cut off without moving a caboose. I will also do another spreadsheet showing scheduled times. Forgot to add that I have a publication that lists connections and local trains for the 1980's. I will compile and share that data as well.
OOh yeah, keep it coming! The Ford FAST was indeed the hottest on the 'Grande. You don't EVER want to make this train late!
ORER pages Hi all, I am in the procces of putting together another database, this time for D&RGW freight cars and I am in need of some assistance. I am looking for just the D&RGW pages from ORER's from 1960 through 1989. I have some myself, but not enough to fill all the gaps. If you have any ORER's from that time frame and would be willing to help, please let me know. Thanks.
That I wish I could help you with... But I don't have any... I will, however, anxiously await your results!
Rod, I emailed the librarian at CRRM and received some info on some SG flangers, as I'd like to build one. Perhaps they can help (without the round trip to Golden)?
