The sooner we get the Forum moved over to the new server, the better. This is getting ridiculous.

you are now....it sounds like the server is running out of ram and needs to be power cycled (turned off, turned on)

It seems there are major problems right now with multiple mysql warnings and very few buttons functioning normally. The main forum link is not working so very few people are able to log in. Hopefully we can figure out what the problem is and get it fixed.

I hate warnings...This pops up on the opening forum page.

If your pickup truck had been made by Microsoft, you would have no problem if it suddenly died while you were cruising at 75 mph on I-95, leaving you sitting in the middle of the road dead in the water. Then you would merely push Start to reboot your car. and drive off without a problem in the world after about 1-2 minutes as it came back to life....LOL

What happened here folks is that I tried to do an upgrade and ran into some major trouble. It's a software issue. I am working on it right now but it may be a day or two before we get back to normal, or whatever we call our state of normalcy around here.

Charlie, my deepest sympathies, and understanding. Been there and done that a few too many times.

Remember, computers were developed as high speed, labor saving devices intended to save employees from the mindless monotony of data manipulation....R I G H T

Thanks for all the behind the scenes hardwork that I know as a IT Professional takes to keep a site going and current. Not every patch/upgrade goes as planned no matter how hard you try...

I think more and more of us are also Facebook users so posting on the TrainBoard page (https://www.facebook.com/trainboard) about outages planned or unplanned would be great usage of the page. I know a few of use also post there when we see issues...

I would post on FB when there is an issue normally but this happened and I had to go to work and FB is blocked to me at work and we are not allowed to bring phones to work so I had no access.
