I'm sure this has been asked before so forgive me. Which mircoscale decal set has the hi-tech/warning stickers for undecorated sd9043macs's. I did a fantasy pair in SP garb but they desperately need these decals.
Was going to go there but wasnt sure whether to look for them under a certain RR or under EMD demonstrator or EMD hight tech locos. Thanks I'll give them a try.
Searching at microscale under railroad only yields the road decals only for . Searching under data only yields decal sets I already have without the large warning decals on the emd90's. Those of you who have done CSX/NS sd80's where did you find the large warning decals?
Hate to do this to you, but looking through the Walthers catalog came up with the following: 60-4161: EMD Diesel Data 1990+ 60-4271: Conrail SD-70/80MAC 60-997: UP Diesels 1996+ Any of these sets may be worth a look, I would think with the first being likely to be best.
Hey, thanks for the research. I opened those sheets on Mircoscales website, but no large warning signs to speak of. Maybe I'm chasing myself in circles, but I could have swore a few months ago I saw some folks who posted pictures of their decorated CSX sd80macs with the proper warning decals. Then again maybe not, that was quite a while ago. I tryed plowing thru the old pages since about May of this year but no luck.
The sheet you are looking for is 60-4161. They don't have a picture of it on the site yet, but according to Craig at Microscale, that is the SD70 Series Data Sheet, and it should have the appropriate warning labels for the SD80's. (I am still waiting for my sheet to arrive ) Bill

The correct one is their No. 4221 set that is data specifically for those units. I am sitting here looking at the set and it is definitely what you are looking for. Chris Toth
Thanks to all for your input research/experience. I will order both sets of decals as I need to redo the warning decals on my two brass ATSF sd75i's. Sheesh, for 375.00 a pop you would think they would put decent legible decals on...or are they just paint. Anyway, it wont be to hard to align and locate where the new decals are to go on the 75's. Again thanks to all for their input.
One more question, anyplace to order these online or just your local hobby dealer. Unfortunately my local hobby dealer is only open on SAT/SUN. For those of you looking for original run kato mikado's, kato sd45's ATSF, and other brand new kato's Atlas, LL, Bachman dash 8-40c/cw from past runs, may want to check out the N-Gauge train shop in Indianapolis. Tons of rolling stock too, new and old. Bring Cash though, no credit cards and no mail order service.

quote:
The 4221 set is HO not N

Oops, my mistake... I knew it was available in HO and even double-checked it being available in N on the Walthers search before I posted. It mistakenly shows that set as being N scale. Chris

They are a TrainBoard advertiser and they do list Microscale decals. If they don't have what you need, I would also suggest Walthers or Caboose Hobbies. Both are large dealers and should have the sets you are looking for. Chris
Again thanks to you both nsdash9 and Chesapeke. I just placed my order with Internettrains. I begin my wait like chesapeke.
