Is there such thing as a drop in, or near fit for this locomotive? Im gonna buy one in =WM= or custom decal one into C&O.
I put one in a Bachman 4-6-0. I used the Digitrax DH123PS. Digitrax recommends the DZ123 as the basic decoder for all Spectrum engines. If I did it again, I would use the same decoder, but with a longer harness (PS = 1"). The longer wires would be useful in twisting and truning the decoer to get just the right fit - there is less room in the tender than you might think...
