I have a question on the DT&I. Cn anyone tell me where the station known as "Carney" was located? I have it narrowed down to Ohio. I cannot find any info on it in an Offical Guide. I'm guessing that Carney was within the city limits of a town known by another name. Boxcab E50
Carney is on the southeast side of Springfield, Ohio. There is(was) a tower there with the New York Central. The DT&I line went from their Junction Yard to downtown Springfield, while the DT&I mainline went around the north and east sides of Springfield. Greg
