Howdy all. Happy new year. I was messing around with 3rd Plan-It again, trying to design a crossing that could also be a working interchange. Deval tower in Des plaines Ill. is where the 2 track main of the SOO crosses over the 3 track main of the CNW. Mind you this is just a rough idea, I may handlay the crossings as to get more of a angle. As of now there are 6 11.25 crossings and 10 #7 turnouts in the plan. Tell me what you think. Just in case no one who reads this knows, I am doing this in N scale in a 21 x 21 garage. Adios Wyatt
Looks pretty cool!! I am asuming that you are going to have two differnt railroads cross here? Do you have a track plan worked out overall, I would like to see how you incorporate this idea into your layout. Again, that looks very cool to me. Are you going to have a Wye nearby to turn trains around?
