I have a db150 currently on a On30 layout and am going to do a Z Scale layout. I plan to purchase a UP6Z to drop the voltage for Z Scale. Is it as easy as connecting the UP6Z to the rail outputs and the LocoNet? i can't find any info for this so any input would be good.
As long as you are running the HO or N scale setting it is that easy. UP6Z will only drop track voltage 4 volt or 6 volts. Connecting loconet is optional. There is a video on the product web site and it's that simple because it is that simple. There is not a lot going on inside that large box even though it is the same case that other more complicated Digitrax items are housed in. Martin Myers
