Have questions on the Digitrax UP7. After reading the instructions, it looks fairly straight forward. For a smaller layout running off a basic Zephyr DC51, will it support using these and especially if you want to chain a few together? I see there is a power sharing option that needs a 12v DC power supply. If it's 12v DC, will any 12v DC work if the plug fits? What's your best recommendation for wiring and also using the Track Status option?
Yes, you can use these with a Zephyr and you can chain several together. As far as the power supply goes, just make sure it's the correct polarity and that it is regulated (almost all of the ones I come across now are, but many older ones were not).
