follow up to this thread... I acquired two ut4-r's and put them to use at Galesburg RR days this past weekend. The kids went bonkers running their own train out away from the layout. 24 feet of table top t-trak, used the inside main exclusively for the wee folk to run a train (had two trains running on the outside main, only had one rear ending incident!)

way to go digitrax, the ut4-r is a WINNER!!

All I have ever used is the DT100, and after my break from playing with DCC (nothing operational for about four years now) I have almost forgot everything. [IMG]

I have no idea how to setup a consist. Of course I have been too lazy to read the manual again.....I figure I will when the time is needed. But what I will probably do is end up just programming from a computer anyways [IMG]

I suggest that you read the owners manual...when you have your DCC system operational. [IMG]

It will save you alot of headaches. [IMG]

Stay cool and run steam..... [IMG]

Roger and I will, the main things I forgot was working the voodoo of the DT100R itself. [IMG] I had the manual memorized damn near once. But like anything, if you dont use it, you will loose it.

I run my DT300R's at our shows.... the club owns some DT100R's and folks sometimes ask me how to do certain things... I have to tell them: Read the manual! (Actually, we have some club "cheat sheets" printed too)
