Can handheld throtttles be used with the Digitrax Zephyr system? I assumed that a throttle like the DT400 or DT300 could be plugged into the back, but wasn't completely sure. I can't go to infra-red or radio yet, so I would need the ability to plug into the system to start.
I think all Digitrax throttles can be plugged in to existing systems for control of trains,,,, I may be wrong about this Harold
Yes, you can definitely use the DTxxx throttles with the Zephyr. You can also use the UP3/5 panels (or generic panels) to locate plug-in locations anywhere around the layout. You just have to run LocoNet cabling from the Zephyr to each of the panels. David
you wanna talk about a small DCC layout.... mine is a 2x4..... only reason im running DCC on it is because im too lazy to take decoders out of my loco's
After all the passionate arguments I've heard for having DCC, this has to be the most refreshing and entertaining!! OK, I'll ask the question the question on everyone's lips... where did those decoders in (presuably all of) your locomotives come from?
