I know a version of this locomotive was made in G scale, but has anyone produced one of these in O scale (RTR or kit)? Is anybody making an O scale ALCo. C-420? (I think both Lionel and MTH do, but I'm not positive about that). That would be a logical starting point for a scratchbuilding project. I'd like to build one as a future project. Even if I never build a narrow gauge layout (although, I'm considering building one, just to work on my craftsman skills), it would still be a neat locomotive to put in my layout room. Has anyone else attempted to build one of these things? Just currious.
I don't recall either of these in O Scale. Have never paid attention to MTH or Lionel for such offerings in Hi-Rail. This DL535E has been done in HO brass.
