It was overpowered, short, and had foreign power with a business car I have never seen before in consist... Solid APL containers, CSX pooled power, and about 15 wells. The end of the train did indeed have a FRED, so it wasn't being switched... Is Uncle Pete conspiring with CSX to provide a new service for APL?

    Anywho, here's the evidence.

And Exhibit C: (Reporting marks of MVCX 432--who owns this car?)

MCVX is the AAR Code for "Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighters Association."

The nice, clean units shows it is a special movement of some importance. But what?

The other MCVX equipment have Conrail and CSX logos on their sides. Maybe a co-owned or leased unit? Perhaps used by both RR and Fire Dept? With the MCVX markings, it could be a "tax incentive" for the CSXT....
