We keep hoping to have more O Scalers here but you can always post your question as some of us do have O Scale in our collections. :tb-err: :tb-err: :tb-err: :tb-err:
Please ask. We do have O people on board. Scale, and hi-rail/tinplate. They seem to mostly lurk. However, our Forum Moderator is active in both O and S. His work schedule can keep him away at times. But he can usually get you an answer. I am presently dabbling in On30. But have some background in Lionel and AF. Boxcab E50
Well, I may be On30 but the "O" in that indicates that I can post here and I often do. This is especially true for things like structures or general O type questions that I don't feel belong in the Narrow Gauge forum. So, a long answer to your question, but "yes" there are folks who post here
I'm primarily an HO modeler, but I also have some O scale 2-rail and On2-1/2 (On30) and I'm willing to contribute whatever experience I've had that would be useful. If I had a 3,500 square foot basement, I'd sell my HO stuff and spend the money on O scale. Now those are trains!
NOW yer talkin! Of course if I had a 3500 sq ft basement I am fairly certain I would have died and gone to heaven
Thank you for the encouragement, BoxcabE50. With my limited space and unlimited ambition, I'm thinking about trying to combine my interests in O and On30. Is there any "pre-fab" dual gauge O scale track available?
Hmmm. Good question. I have not paid attention to the idea of dual gauge. So have not heard of it. I'd be willing to guess there could be some for O/On3. But O/On30, at this point, probably not. As On30 grows in popularity, perhaps it's possible. Boxcab E50
That means I'm probably stuck with handlaying track. Hmmm... I think I'd better think this out again (Fagin - "Oliver"). I think I'll start a separate thread. Maybe with increased visibility, this topic will get more hits. Thanks for your replies & encouragement!
