How do make the DPU load?? It's back there and it sounds the same and the same amount smoke billows from the stack. Also, is there a DPU control panel,...too??
First off, welcome to TrainBoard and the crazy world of MSTS. Unless some one has came out with an add-on lately all locos run as if MUed. I think it would take some major software work to do it.
Thanks. Someone out game design land needs to make that software make that happen. After all, it is called Train Sim. I'd like to make the DPU do all the work at some times instead of dragging an extra 210 tons around.
I know what you mean, the DPU acts like a heavy boxcar, the program does recognise you have an extra loco on the train, the train has more power, and it does do the sound/exhaust for it, but it doesn't push from the back, it's almost as if the extra hp added is just assumed to be with the head end loco's no matter where the helpers are... Another one to add to the list of minor but annoying things with the original game, ah well!
