Dream Sound system ??!!

Hay folks! I working on a design for new sound system. First I'll tell you a bit about
this project. Then I'd like to know what you'd like to see in your idea of the dream
sound system!

· Works with any throttle system you may already have!
· 8 separate sounds per throttle.
· Computer assisted.
· Pick the profile that most closely matches
the sound of your railroad.
· Edit and make your own profiles.
· Up to 4 throttles.
· Random sounds per throttle. IE: air compressors, pressure release and other
engine sounds.
· Both diesel and steam sounds.
· Pick and chose the random sounds for the seen's that match your model railroad.
· Panel mounted or walk around styles.
· Inexpensive and upgradeable! So you
start out small on a small budget and up graded as You have the money.

I'm sure I have left out something. I'm hoping
you can tell me! Like what 8 sounds Would you want to have in this dream sound system?

Hey Sean welcome to the 'board.

I think the most important consideration, if you're going to market this item is make it very user friendly, and it should have a 'turnkey' option, ie the user does't have to make any changes unless he wants to.
The volume of the various sounds should be adjustable. I love my Soundtrax, but the compressor overpowers everything sometimes.

by any throttle, do you include LENZ DCC?? I want to add sound eventually but since I'm in N scale, I will have to mount a series of speakers and have track detectors activate speakers in that area.
Let me know if you have found a way to handle dcc

Yup it will work wiyh any system, you may need to ad speakers and so on.
