Charlie, those are retail prices Hi, charlie, those are retail prices, you usually can get these for around $60 thru a hobby store. Please visit here > www.staubintrains.com/trainshop/default.asp This is St Aubins and they always get discounts thru USA Trains.
Sorry can't help you there. Every bit of information I have on USA Trains American Series Woodside (Billboard) refrigerator cars was culled over the last 4 years from internet research and daily monitoring of eBay sales. I've even email USA Trains but they haven't been very helpful such that I still haven't a clue to the identity of R1602, R1606 and R16008. Good luck in your quest also.
Solase Very good work, much appreciated. I have never seen any catalogs earlier than 1998 so I don't even know if they exist. USA Trains also made uncataloged items I know for sure over the years. They realied mainly on advertising in Garden Scale railways. so I probably would be better off searching for old garden Railway magazines before 1998.
There are 2 separate post with pics of R16330 Geary's Pale Ale within this thread. If you're talking about purchasing one try Charles Ro web site.
Welcome to Charles Ro Supply Company and check their online store, G - Scale, USA Trains, American Series Rolling Stock, Simulated Wood Refrigerator Cars, you will find R16330 a couple of pages down by click next.
Yikes.... this stuff is for people in a different income bracket. :tb-shocked::tb-shocked::tb-shocked:
Charlie It does take alot to save for G scale, but if you built your own G scale fund like saving $50 a month in a shoe box and don't touch it, you would have save $600 for the year, save this every year and just buy a little at a time. My collection is 10 years in the making.
Yeah, I can see what you are saying there... I do have an (indoor) place where a small G layout would be just the thing. Some money would be just the thing too. Charlie
