    Yes, especially the carfloat operation. I think it was featured in a model RR magazine as a "railroad you can model"

    Would 1603 be on Western Maryland heritage? The cab with nothing over the windows makes me think it's an old WM nose job.

    No it probably isn't a WM unit. I just noticed the air filter and the odd-looking angled windows.

    # 1600 looks like a classic ICG rebuild (The signature 3 light cab headlight gives it away. On the other hand, # 1603 looks like a "homemade" low nose unit.

    So since both 1600 & 1603 are listed as "GP8"s, does that mean they were both ICG rebuilds? The site you pointed us to does not state.

    1600 definately an ICG rebuild... note the owner info.

    As an aside, this was Wabash' first GP7.


    1603 is not an ICG rebuild GP8, it was sold to Naparano, they modified it... if they put GP9 power asemblies in it, I can see how some would call it a GP8...
