    Is a 8-40bw the same length as a 8-40cw?

    How do each of those compare to a dash 9 or a AC4400 whatever?

    The BW is a 4 axel unit and the CW is a 6 axel. You can google them for the lengths. A Dash 9 is going to be pretty much the same size as the CW.

    Again, if you google each of these you can find quite a bit of information about them.
