Can anyone share thier experience with ER models FP7. It looks like atlas/rocos old model. What are the running qualities of this locomotive?

    Thanks

<font color="336633">If it is the same as the old Atlas/Roco unit then it should be quite good, smooth and quiet. It has been several years since I have seen one run and so it might not be quite up there with todays locos.

Although, if it is the SAME then id rather buy a second hand Atlas one for about £30 that you can get them for at NMRA meets.

The FP 7 is the old Atlas offering, ER is famous for unearthing old molds and selling them with a somewhat improved drive. The old tooling remains, thick cast in grab irons and heavy mold marks. They recently offered the old Model Power Baldwin sharks, only "A" units, they weren't bright enough to offer the "B" units. If they find an old Cary Body shell for a E7 they may release a new model, but no "B" unit.
