Hello there, I just wanted to let you know that I maintain a website with many transit and railroad photos from around the world, including Europe. This includes Holland, Germany, France and Italy. I never really cared about European railroads until I traveled there for the first time last year. I wish the US would utilize passenger railroads as much as Europe and Japan.... ------------------ Subwaymark (Mark Kavanagh) Salem, OR Transit Photos website: http://www.trainweb.org/subwaymark
Great site Mark, I really enjoyed the pics of the TGV. Welcome to trainboard ------------------ Regards Paul Cassar-# Member number 50 SPAD Investigator #1 ICQ 61198217 http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000
A comprehensive site, Mark I enjoy the rides on the Paris Metro when I get the chance to visit that beautiful city. The rubber tyres give a very quiet ride, unlike most underground systems! ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.alancurtismodels.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery
Your site is very interesting, Mark; I love the shot of the Italian box motor (or Brown Bomber, as I have seen them described elsewhere (although that might have been referring to the old E424 class)). I am planning a long weekend in Italy from London by rail next Feb. or March; I will try to take some photos although I have no way of putting them on the web. Ben
Email 'em to me, Ben. I have plenty of spare web space ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.alancurtismodels.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery
I glad you all like my "labor of love" I like the nickname for the boxmotor, it seems rather appropriate! ------------------ Subwaymark (Mark Kavanagh) Salem, OR Transit Photos website: http://www.trainweb.org/subwaymark
