    All,

I need a little input into the track layout for a design I am working on. The benchwork is from KamKonnect and already ordered (wife Xmas present) and I need a little sanity check. The to main things I tried to focus on is keeping the switches and scenery off of the sections where they join together as this has to remain semi-sectional to move it in the future.

I could add my concerns, but I'd like to see if anyone else points them out. Let me know what you guys think.

It looks as though this will be primarily just for running/showcasing trains, as there is only one possible industry spur seen. One concern might be the usual thoughts about exceeding a 2% grade. Also, I will note that your yard can only be accessed/switched by trains traveling in one direction. I assume there is also some sort of engine service intended there as well.

Layout 2R.jpg You might want to add a track section (orange) for reversing the direction of you trains.

That short jump might present quite a stiff grade.

European is a pretty broad term. What exact country and time period are you looking at?

We tend to think of britain as being part of europe, but they are definitely an island and not the continent. Even track layouts are different between the two places.
