    What's the red classification lights used for in that part of the country?

    I believe I read where CR had red classification lights for when the units might have been used as EOT helpers (?)

    Good catches Harold. Are Conrail painted units going fast, or are there still plenty around?

    The Conrail units were in the minority to start with and the newer units are being repainted as shopped. As is the case with most RR's, older units are last to be repainted, especially if they might be retired or traded in.

    Yes indeed those are some nice shots Harold, I have noticed the D8-40cw's are all maintaining their Blue paint, and the SD60I.
