Looking thru photographs i took in the states over the last few years i came across several shots of fallen flag boxcars in very faded condition (cant remember taking them but at 3500 miles every trip i take pictures of everything railroad). Id like to model some of these older color schemes has anyone pictures of faded fallen flag cars they have modelled? whoppit

I do have several fallen flags running on my 95'ish BN layout. Off the top of my head I have a MT 50ft GN big sky blue box car, it is very rusted and dirty but that is what all of them I have seen in the past few years looked like. I also have a RI 50ft Box car. I used thinner to rub the lettering off in places, and I put a differant color and clean door on one side along with some grafity. My camera broke so i can not post pics but when I get it fixed or get a new one I will post some pics. Kevin D Mumaw
