I am almost ready to fasten Builders In Scale Ribbed Seam metal roofing on a large roof for a background factory building. The sub-roof is styrene. The roof has 3 dormers so there will need to be a lot of cutting and fitting. The glue options listed in the instruction sheet may have problems bonding properly to styrene. What has anyone used to fasten the metal to styrene? And, has anyone ever used double-sided carpet tape to hold roofing on a model? From what I remember of it it adheres strongly to almost anything.
