I'm also March 2000. Should we have a class reunion or something? No idea what my number is.
Don't post much; don't like typing.

April 2003 for me. No idea about my number either.
I don't post much either; don't type well, & not great with computers.
Haven't really been that hobby-active lately, so I don't really have much worth saying anyway.
But I've been hanging around one train board or another since "Prodigy"...

You got me wondering how long I've been hanging around here. I went back to a post I made earlier today and it said Join date 2004. I keep an MS-Word document listing my railimage files so I can access them quickly to post both here and on other sites. It is 49 pages long- but it has a bunch of pages of narratives mixed in with the listings of files. That file does not list dates. I checked my directory of picture files of the layout I dismantled ca. 2007 and I see I stored jpgs of it on my computer as early as September 2003. I may have joined Trainboard and Railimages specifically to host images, both to post images here, and to the Atlas page and the trains.com page. I do not have a record of my posts here. I kept a running record of my posts to Atlas SNFF Sunday Night Foto Fun, the date and the subject boiled down to one line (so I can see what I've already posted). That ran from February 2004 to the end of the active Atlas forum. Went through the re-organizing of Trainboard. Trainboard remains one of my favorite sites, I look at it almost everyday. (I've been selling bits and pieces on "that auction site" and I regularly check to see if I have been lampooned personally on the auction site "Humor" thread.) I have been posting to railimages less the past year or so, because it is so easy to post on various Facebook train group pages. Bang bang bang and it's up. However, finding or re-posting ones own or other's images is not practical. If it's a picture I expect to re-use and re-use for multiple purposes, if its shows a particular piece of rolling stock AND the layout AND a scratch structure or creative kitbash I'm proud of, AND a prototype operating situation I am simulating, AND a modeling technique, I will post it to railimages.

Let's see it was back when Nixon ran for office that I first...no that wasn't it. Ok, I had just left the hospital in Palm Springs, Ca. and my first born Son was....no that wasn't it either. I know, I'd just gone to work for a hobby shop in Kettering, Ohio. Nope wrong again but that was when I first heard about TrainBoard. I had a heart attack and was barely surviving when I found TrainBoard.com. That's it!

An irritating pot stirrer since 2005. LOL
See details listed in upper right hand corner. No I didn't say call the Coroner! Not yet!

I've made a lot of friends and have only myself to blame for being here. Nothing but fun and a few slapstick moments.:startled::wideeyes::teeth:

Congrats, Inkaneer, and to all you other veterans. It's really good to hear from members that we haven't heard from lately. There's gotta be some pure lurkers from the beginning, too. Forget about the thousands of posts some of you have made to date, think how many words you've tapped out on your keyboards.

March 2000 for me. My user ID is 145...I know there have been a number of upgrades but that's still a low number. It's been a great place to talk trains for over 15 years!

January 28th, 2002, so only 13 years here. A friend told me about this place and I had to try it....was sort of scary back then.

Perhaps the quickest way is simply at top of page right, small black letters click on "My Profile". When that page opens, read the address bar. It will show your number and User Name.

Yes there and also if you hover over the user name link in each post, most browsers have a status bar at the bottom that shows you the URL address where it will take you if you click. It says something like ....member.php?99999. The number is the user ID.
Jim, my sons (8 and 10) love the photos of your layout by the way!

Wow, I just moved up to member #92. I would have sworn it was #300. That was the number that appearred previously in the top right corner of each post along with join date, No. of posts, location, etc. Now it is no longer there.

Wow, I just realized I showed up in June 2000. That's actually kind of depressing, because I have no idea where all that time went. I go back to the AOL N forum days though, like 94? That's when it gets really scary.
