I've appearantly hit my limit of 'free and unlimited' space for my three sites. I'm not sure exactly what this means at this point but it does mean immediate closure for any new materials being posted. Hopefully this will be only temperary. I see it as I have three options: 1. Discontinue one of my three sites to allow for the other two to grow. 2. Let someone who has the space take over one of them. or 3. Start paying for more space/bandwidth. For which I have no budget. (Yes, these were all free for the last 9 years thanks to Railfan.net) No decision has been fully made yet but new updates will not be arriving any time soon and I wanted you all to know. Please any current or would be contributors, do not send any more pics at this time. I have a full mailbox as well that is waiting to be posted. Thanks all. This is definately my favorite of the three and my own very personal site. I will not let this one go down but may have to sacrifice something else. Then again I am waiting for contact from Railfan.net to figure out whats goin on. So for now, everthing just on hold. Sucks cause I have a very large update ready to post for Foothill Rails and I was very excited.
Being a Holiday weekend, and staffing is probably minimal, let's hope it's just a minor glitch! Boxcab E50
Yeah, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is just a minor problem on their end. Would sure love to get my update posted. But if its more, I want to find out how much money it'll take before I start thinkin of moving or removing stuff. Now its just a waiting game for a reply.
It might just be something they have done during the holiday so I would make a rash moves until next week.
Good news!!! Ok guys and gals, I've got some more space and can add more pics to the UP and SP sites so bring em on. I do have a large backlog so it may take some time to get caught up. I am taking up a very large portion of space at Railfan.net and am asking that those who can, please donate to Railfan.net to help keep them and me goin. Volunteers only though. The Foothill Rails portion of my site will be moving too. I am goin to get it reformed at Trainweb.org but all original links will continue to work and no-one should notice the change when it comes. Again I thank all those fans and contributors of/to the sites. John Barnhill Nor-Cal SP/UP Connection Foothill Rails
