    Hello G-scalers,

This is my formal into here at the G-scale section. We have been into g-scale for a while, but nothing too serous until recently when we purchased our first live steam g-scale engine. This has really brought us back into the g-scale area of the hobby.

We primarily model in S-Scale, and 7.5" Scale (commonly refereed to as Live Steam). But as I said above after getting our Accucraft 0-4-0 live steam Ruby, we have gotten a much needed revival to this scale. We are now planning to build an elevated out-door railroad to accommodate larger live steam engines, as our indoor layout was built with LGB curves, and does not have the curve radius needed by the larger engines.

Our g-scale album can be seen here:
    TrainBoard.com

Again, the indoor railroad is not much, as g-scale was never our primary scale.

If you have any questions, or would like some more specific photos, just let me know!

LordPyro, thanx for the formal intro and again welcome aboard. There is a live steam club by the name of Aikenback Live Steamers that puts on a nice display at the Large Scale Train show in york and will be there for the fall show this month. It's neat to see the different fuels and controls each one uses. I see alcohol, butane and even coal used as fuels. I also saw people using R/C controls and manual controls thru the roof of the cab. Seeing people using manual controls is real intersting, especially since they are making adjustments while the train is in motion.
