O.K., Found a couple dates for you... Fox River Valley start up date was on 9 December 1988. The purchase price for the railroad and equipment was $60 million. In case you didn't know, FRV was one of the roads in the shortline empire of Itel Rail...Itel's other roads included the Green Bay & Western, the Anhapee & Western, the Hartford & Slocomb, the McCloud River, Southern Railway of British Columbia, and maybe one or two others. The Fox River Valley, Green Bay & Western, and Ahnapee & Western were sold to Fox Valley & Western (a Wisconsin Central subsidiary) for $62.2 million on 27 August 1993.
