    Hi Group,

I was Looking in the TB Groups Section and Find Nothing Listed for
"Free Mo" If I'm Missing Something, I Stand Corrected.
So I'll Throw the Question Up.

Any One Interested is Staring Up an HO Free Mo Group?

"Free Mo N" I Like the Opportunities Free Mo N Has to Offer N Scalers
as There is NO Real Limits as to Width or Lengths of Modular Tables.
That Single Track Can B Used as a Double Track Main in Areas and Also
as a Single Train Main Depending on What Your Running as a Layout.
For Me It Offers Strictly Point to Point Operations and Lots of Switching
Opportunities. No Loops and No Waisted Circles on 4 x 8s.
For Now, I Like the Ideas of 600 & 750 Mm Widths and Lengths of
    1, 1.5, 1.75 & 2 Metre Lengths.Corner Modulars I'd Base it On Ntrak
but With Some Variations to Suit the Sq Metres of Space One has to
Work With, Sq Corner or Rectangular.
40 MM Center Line Space for Two or More Tracks is Good and a Length
Space of 30 or the 60 MM Atlas Conecting Tracks Gives More Room
    for Operations Between Modular Tables,
I Drew Up Ideas for Modular Tables. I Don't Have a Scanners to Post
Them on Line. My Only Draw Back.
If Others Have Ideas, Feel Free to Post and See Where the Topic Goes.

While there may not be a Group, there are a number of active threads within the forum area on the different groups around the country, as well as module building threads.

Using the standard for modules for your own layout is an idea discussed by a number of folks, and offers many choices. The key is deciding if you want to be truly standard for interchange with other's modules, or just for yourself.

    Good luck with your planning.

There is a large HO Scale Freemo group in MN. I don't believe they are as active online as the N Scale part of the group.

Get the standards, build a module and start a group in your area.

Around here, a group of HO guys tried to throw together a Central Indiana Free-Mo. There was interest, but not enough dedication/time and too small of a sampling to make it work. If My First Layout(tm) goes the way I wnat it to though, I think its going to be a modification of the MRR Whasup Dock Co. trasckplan on three 2x4 modules wand three potential Free-Mo connections. But who knows when or where I'll be when I get to building that.
