Does anyone one have a picture of CSX's fuel tender connectionto the locomotive or if you have a model of it and can get a pictures it would help me out. I'm doing a L&N SD90MAC & fuel tender combo. Hey Don, is that where they have a guy running along beside the engine holding a gas hose filling the gas tank as you go? (Just teasing!) I'll ask a couple of friends and see if one can take a shot of the connections for you, but may not be the same engine to fuel tanker.
The Second Diesel Spotter's Guide has some pictures of tenders and connections. It pre-dates the 90 MACs though - I didn't know anyone was still using fuel tenders - but I think L&N SD90... should be my first clue
Donald, Take a trip through the "CSX Forum". I posted a topic on the CSX fuel tenders and their are some pictures in my tread.... I'm also going to model the CSX Fuel Tender. But their are a few other CSX tanks that are not tenders! They're for fuel transport.
