West Coast Short Line Fans, read below Someone has been stealing, over the last week, cannibalized grade crossing signal equipment that was going to be used to rehab some signals that have weathered the worst. If anyone sees the following below on EBay or elsewhere, please send me a message. I will personally buy yourself and spouse (or significant other) a dinner at the Far Western Tavern in Guadalupe, CA or the Hitching Post in Casmalia, CA. (or an equivalent gift card). I WILL KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY THE EQUIPMENT. List follows: US&S Grade crossing bells-big and heavy-heart shape RACO GS Gate mechanisms-hydraulically operated RACO Crossing Bells - round RACO 2 way (front and back lights) 8" crossing lights (can be identified by RACO on the back of the light housings and the crossarm cover. SAFETRAN Model "S" and "SM" gate mechanisms (with counterweights) Cast Iron Junction Box Mast Bases with US&S markings 14 foot tall thick wall steel 14' and 16' 4 inch masts (pipe) This is heavy stuff- 2 or 3 people and a long bed truck out of a lighted and locked area. I would appreciate any info that any of you may have...we are trying to rebuild and rejuvenate the operation of the SMV under new ownership, but this beats all I've ever seen. Any responses will be kept completely confidential. Many Thanks in Advance, D Any info please call us at (805) 922-7941 or email jennings@smvrr.com
