The 2011 Central Coast Railroad Festival in San Luis Obispo, CA, again will feature free, self-guided tours of garden and model railroads as part of the festival activities. I have been asked by Festival Director Curtis Reinhardt to organize this year’s tour as I did last year. While three of the eighteen layouts on last year’s tour were garden railroads, we would like to have even more garden railroads on this year’s program. The tours will take place in an area ranging from Paso Robles to Santa Maria on October 6th through the 10th.
