Someplace with snow, road markings look North American, shadows indicate the rails and road are north-south...Looks almost like CSX Dark Future on the point.
Can't tell from first photo, if there's snow on the ground or not! Maybe sandy, I just do NOT know! Current view isn't helping too much. Yet!
Dude, that was brutal. I followed every expressway in Sweden to no avail, then I went to Denmark just out of Copenhagen, and here on this crazy little island..... ....was 55.603736, 12.742445....
WINNER!!!!!!! It could be salt... Bet I had folks checking Northern Russia and many of Mountain routes for a bit until I zoomed in Note too that is goes into a tunnel on the westerly end of the island as well and then comes back out near the airport. :tb-biggrin: Anyway, it's been fun doing these again and I will pick back up at a later date.
That tunnel is very neat in that it has 4 lanes of auto traffic, and 2 tracks of rail traffic. The bridge to the east is a double-deck type with the rails below...
Or, as I suggested to Mark Watson, with the other GE contests, let the winner, in this case, Hemi, pick the next location? Gives you a break, and lets everyone get involved in picking a possible location. And of course, that's IF folks wish to try it that way!! A suggestion anyway...
