Tonight my cure for insomnia is to search up switching layouts. Small shelf layouts I've never run across before. Here goes...

O scale layout featuring an old Atlas Plymouth switcher.
Model Trains Interactive :: View topic - Portway Terminal US O scale.

A track plan that has been kicking around the web a bit.

Some Italians who have made a really nice little n scale layout. If you click the images they are quite large also if you click the piu vechie button it'll take you back to lots of how to scenery tutorials. Some nice work to look at.
    LuCa's Yard

Another italian Us switching layout with nice tutorial images.
ATSF Third District - Route 66

    Geeky,

    Do you speak italian?!

I've looked at all of them, and whenever I close on my house (I hope soon...!) I'll actually probably incorporate some of those switching designs into my new layout... thanks for sharing!

Yeah I do. I think that if you search the site up in google by pasting the address into the browser, that you can select to have the text translated for you.

That N scale layout is really nice.

I love that Italian page on the ATSF line. I know just enough Italian (supplemented by Spanish and Latin) that I mostly understand the text. The pictures pretty much tell it all themselves.
