I saw this photo of the GG20B's in new "swoosh" scheme: http://64.246.11.82/images/f/Four-Goats-1-NYD.jpg.79770.jpg Harold
Every time I see pix of these types, my first thought is "they haven't finished assembling them yet. Where's the rest at?" Boxcab E50
Can they actually call it a "swoosh?" Or is that purely railfan jargon? Doesn't Nike have that term trademarked? Boxcab E50
After seeing one finally in person, it kind of grows on you, like it better than the previous 2 schemes, but can NEVER replace the Warbonnet. Only saw 3 of the h3's on my AZ. trip, but think I like it
The H3 paint isn't too bad, but I think I still like the H2 paint a little better since it does retain some of the properties of the warbonnet scheme. MC Phoenix Az
It is black, this has become a bit of a bad merger joke aroung my part of the BNSF. Getting set up to become the Burlington Norfork and Santa Fe. I know bad joke. Adam
Did anyone notice how kit bashed these units look. The cab looking part has a rounded roof on some while angled on others. This probably has to do with the heritage of units they were made from but it sure does add some variety.
I have been asking myself that too. I noticed that Athern has done an HO loco in the green and orange with the new logo, so has MTH. Is BNSF applying the new logo to H2 locomotives? I hope when I do my railfaning next Friday to get some pictures to clear up this confusion.
