Hello Everyone-- I recently started in Z-scale when I bought a couple MTL F7s. I was disappointed in the luminosity of the locos' front lights. I contacted Glen Chenier. After a lengthy discussion and some thought on Glen's part, he solved the problem with a newly designed LED. For some time now, I've been running F7s with the LEDs and cannot be more pleased with the results. What's really impressive is the LED dims when the loco is thrown in reverse. It's quite a sight when you lash up two F7A units back to back; the LED on the point loco is brighter than that of the trailing engine.
