This may not be quite the right forum for it, but here's an odd thing: I was driving south the other day. I'd just left Pennsylvania and a station wagon passed in front of me at a road junction. It was rush-hour, dark and raining, so I didn't get a good look, but this car (which appeared to be a dark silver color) had a 6" black stripe down the side. This stripe was edged with thin gold/yellow bands and between these in the same colour were the words "Baltimore & Ohio" . Now this may not seem too strange to some of you guys, but since the Pennsylvania I had just left was a village near Bristol in England I was somewhat gobsmacked . Under better circumstances and if my brain ran a few MHz faster I'd have tailed him to find out more, but the moment passed. Now, I am really wondering if I imagined it - but as I'm not a B&O fan this seems unlikely. Help?

Well, if my future is to go mad, doing something like this isn't a bad way to express myself. As a fan of many RR's, and the Milwaukee Road being number 1 on that list, I've seen many who have gone beyond the custom license plate in some form of their favorite company name. And the vehicle is all painted up...... Orange and maroon. Orange and black. Anyhow, as the CEO of your empire at home, you need an official looking car assigned to get you to the important swap meets, slide shows, etc. And to let the world know of your important position as the President! Pat thats funny! I've been thinking of getting a custom liecence plate that says "EM-1 7600" on it! But haven't yet./ but if I get the right truck It'll be all blue with 2 dual yellow pin stripes! Without the "Baltimore And Ohio" written on it unless I get a wild hair on my to have the B&O lettering painted on it! HA! I just might. Ya never know! HA HA HA
