Hi I am a bit of a novice I had an N gauge British outline layout a few years ago but been without since a house move. My father modeled American N scale he loved railroads and got me interested unfortunately he passed away suddenly and I have inherited his stock so I have decided to build a layout to run his stock on.
So I will have many questions specially with DCC I have built a controller and command station from kits but know little about DCC, dad was DCC and knew how it worked. Anyway I'm looking forward to getting it all up and running.

Hi Dave, Welcome. I think it's wonderful for you to develop your layout with your Dad's trains. Although I'm in N-Scale, I'm a DC Dinosaur knowing nothing about DCC. I say again, Welcome, and please checkout TrainBoard's DCC & Electronics and N-Scale Forums.

Welcome @Bbdave! As @Hytec noted we have a LOT of expertise around here for a lot of things. You will find a good many AMericans familiar with British outline as well so the crossover should be easy.
