    I never know how to reference things CN/IC. Is the IC still an actual independent (subsidiary) operating entity? Or have it's operations been absorbed into CN by now?

    The IC reporting marks are property of Wisconsin Central Ltd. (a CN subsidiary). Same goes for GTW, DMIR and EJE.

    But is the IC still an independently operating company? Or are those marks kept for accounting purposes, such as the NYC and PRR, etc, we see rolling still today?
