Hint time: Not in a state, that begins with an A. And btw there has been tracks around here for the past 70-75 years.
You are absolutely right, and not a B, either. And infact you might as well take out states beginning with a C too.
Has me wondering if North/South Dakota fall under D, or N/S instead? I still figure 10 possible states to check!
Let take out the S to eliminate confusion about the Dakotas and the Carolinas ;-) And then I'll take out the W as well. Boxcab you are on to something, about your last comment ;-)
Wauw no response in 7 days. Guess people have been doing other things than searching . Let me eliminate some more states by saying: not in a state beginning with an M.
I have no chance at all of figuring this out. But, I would like to say that the rail entrance to the building is really close to the road. I mean you are right there ready to hit something as you exit the shed. I don't think I have ever seen a railroad engine shop building exactly like that.
Taking out states beginning with an I and a P. Oh, btw name of the nearby city is also mentioned in LOTR all though it's not the same place ;-)
Not being into LOTR makes that clue nearly useless to me. Is this a shortline, or an industrial switcher shed?
It is a shortline. The name of the railroad should somehow ring a bell for you if you are a Z-scaler. Not at all anywhere east of Kansas City. Now I wont give anymore hints.........I think
Bazinga! (sorry if you don't watch Big bang Theory--I'm a "Sheldon") Rogue Valley Terminal, White City, OR. I was all over northern and eastern OR but never considered this area. I tore up the whole state of Oklahoma, too.
