My layout is no where near being done, or even partially landscaped. However, I did take these two pics of my BN SD40-2 pulling some coal porters around my table. In these pics, it is passing my Big Boy with a train of custom painted Overland passenger cars. I need to take a few more like it because today I scored 10 BN twin tub coal porters for a cool $40 at the Great Train Expo. So now my little BN #7060 is pulling a 20 car train =)
Seeing these pictures, I start feeling very humble.......... Why don't I see these great layouts in the MR???

That's how I spell out ALL of my SD&AE engines and rolling stock. I only have black & white, so when I need gold, I go over the letters in gold sharpie between 2 coats of Testor's Dullcote. (THIS ONLY WORKS WHEN THE CAR OR ENGINE IS OF A DARK COLOR, LIKE OLIVE GREEN.)
I have 2 more, perhaps my favorites: the first one is made to look like some old SD&A postcards I saw somewhere... Anyone have more layout photos?
